ShotoShree Boutique began with a simple dream — to carry the soul of Bengal’s looms into every home. Our heart lies in Jamdani, the UNESCO-honoured art of weaving intricate motifs by hand, pick by pick, into fine muslin — alongside the Dhanekhali, Shantipur and Tangail handlooms and the silks of Bishnupur. Every drape you buy supports a weaver’s craft and keeps a centuries-old heritage alive.
“ShotoShree” (শতশ্রী) means a hundred blossoms — just like the hundred butis that bloom across the pallu of a Dhakai Jamdani. Jamdani weaving is honoured by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and our Dhakai, Tangail and Shantipur Jamdanis come directly from the weaver families who keep that heritage alive — alongside Dhanekhali cottons, gamcha weaves and the silks of Bishnupur.

Some memories of Bengal are not easily put into words. They live in the rustle of a saree being folded into an old almirah, the rhythm of a handloom working somewhere beyond the courtyard, the fragrance of shiuli on an autumn morning, and the warmth of a Bengali home.
ShotoShree Boutique was born from a longing for that Bengal—the Purono Bangla where beauty was understated, traditions were cherished, and a saree was chosen not simply to be worn, but to become part of a memory.
Founded in Kolkata, ShotoShree Boutique is an homage to Bengal’s timeless handloom traditions. We thoughtfully curate sarees that reflect the character of Bengal—from traditional weaves and handloom textures to delicate motifs and details shaped by generations of craftsmanship.
We work closely with weavers and trusted sources across Bengal, with a focus on bringing authentic, thoughtfully made sarees to today’s women. Each saree is chosen for its craftsmanship, character and the story it carries.
